- As a member of the ACO Club, Endurance-Info was invited to the presentation of the 24 Hours of Le Mans reserved for ACO Club members at the Welcome. Various information was revealed during the evening by Pierre Fillon, President of the ACO, Nicolas Cousseau, Head of the ACO Club, Vincent Beaumesnil, Director of Sports, Stéphane Darracq, General Manager, and Fabrice Bourrigaud, in charge of the 24H du Mans Museum.

- Ecology will be at the heart of the event. A Green Challenge will allow the public to win prizes, including a ride in the MissionH24. A village dedicated to hydrogen will also be set up. The Danish Automobile Club will bring 25 electric cars to Le Mans.

- The Test Day is back one week before the event instead of two previous to the Covid-19. "There is no longer any need to organise this Test Day two weeks before the race", explained Vincent Beaumesnil, "Today, the level of reliability of the cars and the good preparation of the teams mean that this need has disappeared. However, the majority of the teams have requested the organisation of a Test Day, which was not present in 2020 for the reasons we know. This also reduces costs and allows us to switch the checks to Friday and Saturday."

- The traffic flow will be changed this year with a North Gate (main entrance) reserved for pedestrians. ALL vehicles will be asked to enter the circuit via the South gate. More and more cars will be parked outside the circuit with the introduction of a shuttle service. The first traffic plan will be unveiled in about ten days.

- New this year, the entire circuit will be reserved for bikes, pedestrians and rollers on Friday afternoon from 2.30 pm to 7.30 pm. A great initiative from ACO.

- The ACO Club is doing everything possible for its members. The reception area installed at La Chapelle will welcome members with the added bonus of access to Tribune T17 located opposite the stands. The novelty of the year concerns the access to the terrace of Maison Blanche. Access will be free for ACO Club members during Test Day and practice, and by reservation on the Saturday of the race from 1pm to 5pm, all with a gauge (visual, not sanitary).

- Spectators with a low-carbon (electronic) ticket will have advantages, notably at the Museum shop on the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) range. The ACO wishes to invest more and more in CSR with the implementation of different actions this year.

- The announcement of the 2022 Le Mans 24 Hours starter will be made on 23 May, as will the Grand Marshal and the Spirit of Le Mans trophy.

- Pierre Fillon and the other speakers of the evening took the opportunity to answer all the questions of the members present. The ACO President confided that discussions for a new pit building will resume in 2024 with the possibility of having some additional stands in the next few years.

- The 2023 Le Mans 24 Hours will take place on 10 and 11 June.
