The public of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will see a new contest on Tuesday afternoon in the pit lane.
While Monday 6 June will be reserved for the teams to work in the pits of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Circuit (circuit closed to the public) following the Test Day, the teams will be put to work on Tuesday afternoon in the pit lane for the great pleasure of the fans.
A Pitstop Challenge will be organised under the public eye. Each team will choose four mechanics for a wheel changing contest.
"Tuesday afternoon will be devoted to an autograph session and a visit to the pits, but that's not all", said Vincent Beaumesnil, the ACO's Director of Sport, last night at the 24 Hours of Le Mans presentation evening reserved for ACO members. "A Pitstop Challenge will delight the fans. The best team in each category will receive a trophy on the podium."
