Andrea Reggiani named Lamborghini Squadra Corse Head of Motorsport

Lamborghini today announces that Andrea Reggiani will assume the role of Head of Motorsport, overseeing all areas of the racing division of the Sant’Agata Bolognese firm at international level. The experienced Italian-Swiss engineer will report directly to Rouven Mohr, Chief Technical Officer of Automobili Lamborghini.

Over the course of his career, Reggiani has held senior positions with some of the sport’s leading brands and, couple with his years of experience and extensive industry knowledge, has contributed to the commercial and strategic success of the various companies with whom he has previous collaborated. In his new role, Reggiani will be responsible for the development of Lamborghini’s motorsport models and the commercial management of racing activities, including the global Lamborghini Super Trofeo platform across Europe, Asia and North America and the GT3 customer racing programme.

At the same time, Automobili Lamborghini is pleased to announce stability across the continental single-make Super Trofeo championships. Erik Skirmants (North America), Federica Teneggi (Europe) and Francesco Scardoni (Asia-Pacific) will each continue in their roles as motorsport activity coordinators in their respective regions.

With the arrival of Andrea Reggiani and the confirmation of the coordinators of the continental championships, Lamborghini further strengthens its dedicated competition structure, continuing its commitment to the technological and sporting development of its racing programmes globally. In addition to managing the motorsport activities of Lamborghini Squadra Corse, Reggiani will also look after Lamborghini’s trackday-only Essenza SCV12 programme.
