WEC - LMGT3 BoP for Qatar revealed

As the opening round of the 2024 WEC season approaches, we finally know the Balance of Performance that will govern the LMGT3 class at the Losail International Circuit.

If you're a regular reader of Endurance-Info, you already know all about the BoP that will be in force in Qatar in the Hypercar category. These values were made official today by the ACO / FIA tandem, at the same time as the first BoP table in the history of LMGT3.

 

As stipulated in the document (which you can find HERE) these values are the result of data and information supplied by the manufacturers as well as analyses carried out by the ACO and the FIA.

 

🇬🇧 LMGT3 BoP for Qatar revealed 

 

They include various values for weight, energy allocation, maximum power under 200 kph and power gains over 200 kph, as well as a minimum ride height to be respected (50 mm for everyone) and the maximum steering angle for the rear wing.

 

If you take a look at the table below, the Lexus RC F GT3 ⬆️ is the heaviest car (1,345 kg) compared with 1,315 kg for the Porsche 911 GT3 R, which is the lightest LMGT3 car on the grid.
