As Endurance-Info revealed : Cadillac Racing will indeed enter a second V-Series.R at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps on 29 April. The car will be driven by Frenchman Sébastien Bourdais and Dutchman Renger van der Zande. “We’re excited for the opportunity to bring another Cadillac to the race at Spa,” explained GM sports car racing programme manager, Laura Wontrop Klauser. “Any opportunity that we have to prepare for Le Mans within the WEC rules and regulations is great. This will get the team even more ready to tackle that race as well as an opportunity to bring more Cadillac participation to the European race.”

The two men, teammates in IMSA, will drive as a duo. While Scott Dixon has supported them at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring, and will also do so at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the New Zealander will not be able to be present in Belgium. He will be at Barber Motorsports Park (Alabama) that weekend, which will host the fourth round of the IndyCar Series.

As a reminder, Cadillac Racing enters a car in the WEC for Earl Bamber / Alex Lynn / Richard Westbrook. In La Sarthe, there will even be three V-Series.R cars as the Action Express Racing car, which has just won the 12 Hours of Sebring with Pipo Derani / Alexander Sims / Jack Aitken, will be added to these two.

As for the other changes, Romain Dumas and Olivier Pla do not yet know the identity of their team-mate in the 007 LMH Glickenhaus. As for Diego Alessi, he will replace Stefano Costantini in the Ferrari 488 GTE n°21 entered by AF Corse.
