The last driver to have defended Ferrari's interests in the top class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans spoke to Endurance-Info, wearing his trademark hat and a belt that always shows the cigar company that had such an influence on his career.

Why did you come for the 50th anniversary of the Dijon-Prenois circuit?

When I was driving here, I was still very young (Laughs). More seriously, I won the very first race organized on the circuit (on June 4, 1972). It was in the 2L European Prototype Championship and I was driving an Abarth 2.0. Afterwards, I also won the 1000 km of Dijon with Alfa Romeo (in 1975 and 1977, events reduced to 800 and 500 km), so yes, it is a circuit that has a rather special place in my heart.

What makes it special?
