The Masters 2025 World Tour is unveiled, and it's full of surprises!
Masters Historic Racing proudly unveils its highly anticipated 2025 Tour schedule, containing unmissable old favourites, revisits to iconic venues and some new surprises. With six key events across the UK and Europe and a thrilling Middle East double-header to conclude the year in the UAE, the 2025 season is set to captivate motorsport enthusiasts globally. The season will also launch the all-new Masters Le Mans 80s+ series, featuring iconic Group C machines roaring back to life at three prime events—an unmissable experience for both fans and teams alike.
Eight Unmissable Events to Look Forward To
The 2025 Masters Tour will span eight spectacular events, with the Masters Racing Legends for 1966-’85 Formula One cars taking centre stage at each one. Masters Historic Racing will focus on three major UK and European events featuring the full roster of Masters grids, ensuring an action-packed experience for drivers and fans. Highlights include the Masters Historic Festival at Brands Hatch (May 31–June 1), the Historic Grand Prix at Zandvoort (June 20–22), and the Silverstone Festival (August 22–24), where drivers can expect extensive track time across multiple exhilarating races.
In a step change from previous years, the other rounds on the calendar will feature a selection of Masters grids that will continue to include the Masters Sports Car Legends for 1962-’76 Le Mans sportscars, Masters Gentlemen Drivers for pre-66 GT cars, Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars and the Masters GT Trophy for out-of-homologation GT3, GT4. one-make series GT cars. Additionally, the Masters Endurance Legends grid will be rebranded as Masters Le Mans 90s+, bringing a fresh focus to endurance racing from the 1990s to 2000s.
High Octane Action from April to November with Masters !
The 2025 Masters Tour kicks off in style at Paul Ricard from April 25–27 for the Grand Prix de France Historique, an event which last year saw a record 40-car Masters Racing Legends entry. This season, Paul Ricard will host the debut of the all-new Masters Le Mans 80s+ series alongside the iconic 3-litre F1 cars, making it a must-attend opener. In May (9–11), Masters returns to the Jim Clark Revival at Hockenheim, bringing the Masters Le Mans 90+ series and a combined Masters Gentlemen Drivers & Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars grid for a thrilling showcase. Following staple events at Brands Hatch and Zandvoort, Masters rejoins the Oldtimer Grand Prix (August 1/3) at the Nürburgring with the same two grids with which it visited Paul Ricard. Into August (22/24) there is a full house of grids at the Silverstone Festival, where the UK & EU season will wrap up, making way for two exciting season-closers under the warmth of the Middle Eastern sun. Fans can look forward to a spectacular double-header in Dubai at the Dubai Autodrome (October 24–26) and Yas Marina Circuit (Oct 31/ Nov 2), bringing the season to an electrifying close.
Masters Ventures to the Middle East
Having organised the end-of-year Gulf Historic GP Revival for a number of years now, new Masters owner Fred Fatien was eager to expand the Masters 2025 calendar with a new event in the region. Taking full advantage of the cars’ presence in the Middle East, Masters will now offer an exciting back-to-back winter doubleheader, featuring the Gulf Historic event at Abu Dhabi’s iconic Yas Marina Circuit. The winter doubleheader in the two Emirates is set to be an unforgettable addition to next year’s lineup !
New Series and New Names for 2025 !
The newly introduced Masters Le Mans 80s+ series will spotlight Group C and IMSA GTP cars from 1982 to 1993, and will focus on three blue riband European events – Paul Ricard, Nürburgring and Silverstone – where the cars are able to unleash their full power. After that, the series will continue as part of the exciting winter doubleheader in the Middle East. As a result of the introduction of the new series, the Masters Endurance Legends grid will also be rebranded as Masters Le Mans 90s+, reinforcing the historical continuity and legacy between the two grids.
Equally new will be the Masters Demo Legends for 90s Formula One cars, an opportunity to showcase designs from F1’s exhilarating 3.5-litre formula, an era that is fast gaining traction through the FIA’s recent decision to include the nineties in historic motorsport’s Appendix K of the International Sporting Code. These iconic cars will appear at Brands Hatch in May and at the two Middle East rounds, offering fans a rare glimpse of racing history in action.
Further details on each event and the track time available will be released in the coming weeks. The entry fee packages for 2025 will be available towards the end of the year.
