Already competing in the DTM for a second consecutive season with two Aston Martin Vantage GT3 cars, Comtoyou Racing is further strengthening its presence in Germany by entering an additional car in the ADAC GT Masters. The championship shares most of its calendar with the DTM, making it a natural extension of the team’s programme.
The GT3 series features both sprint and endurance races and is contested by two-driver line-ups. It also serves as an important development platform for drivers aiming to progress to the DTM. Aston Martin will therefore be represented in this highly competitive championship alongside Comtoyou Racing, which continues to build its long-term DTM programme while developing young talent through its ADAC GT pathway.
For the 2026 season, the team will enter the #39 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the Silver Cup category with the following driver pairing :
Jamie Day (GB / UAE) – Silver Winner of the Aston Martin Racing Academy in 2024 after an outstanding GT4 season in the UK and across Europe, Jamie impressed strongly last year with Comtoyou Racing, notably winning the Silver Sprint Cup in GT World Challenge. Experienced, consistent and extremely quick, he has openly set his sights on a future in the DTM and will undoubtedly be a strong contender in ADAC GT Masters.
Baudouin Detout (FR) – Silver After a successful career in motocross, Baudouin switched to GT racing in GT4 competition in France and later at European level. Last season he achieved several podium finishes driving an Aston Martin Vantage. Following convincing GT3 tests with Comtoyou Racing over the winter, he now joins the Gembloux-based squad alongside Jamie Day — a driver he already teamed up with in GT4:
Highly convincing GT3 tests conducted this winter with Comtoyou Racing have enabled him to join the Gembloux-based team alongside Jamie Day, with whom he has already shared the track in GT4.
"I am very excited to compete in the ADAC GT Masters alongside Jamie Day, whom I know well. He is a talented and experienced driver, and I am convinced that we will form a strong duo to proudly represent Comtoyou Racing and AMR in what is a true feeder series for the DTM."
Team Principal François Verbist has high expectations for the new duo.
"As we already do in GT World Challenge, where we support young drivers with strong potential — such as Kobe Pauwels, also a winner of the Aston Martin Academy and now team-mate of one of our factory drivers — we are applying the same philosophy within our DTM programme. In ADAC GT, Jamie will gain valuable experience on circuits that are also part of the DTM calendar, while Baudouin will adapt to the higher pace of GT3 competition alongside a very strong reference team-mate. We are preparing for the future by building long-term relationships with our drivers and offering them the best environment to develop within a supportive and ambitious team."
The season opener for both the DTM and ADAC GT Masters will take place at the Red Bull Ring (Austria) from April 24–26.
