Team KCMG will compete in the Nürburgring 24 Hours this year, as part of a wider Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie campaign, starting at NLS2 later this month.

The Hong Kong-based squad will run a Mercedes-AMG GT3 around the fearsome Nordschleife, with experienced Nürburgring stars David Pittard, Jesse Krohn and KCMG regular Edoardo Liberati set to drive across the season. Exact line-ups and further driver announcements will be made in the build-up to NLS2.

KCMG has a long history at the Nürburgring, first entering the famous twice-around-the-clock race in 2019, competing five times in total, with Liberati at the wheel on four of those occasions.

Both Pittard and Krohn are Nürburgring specialists and previous winners of the event. British driver Pittard clinched top spot around the ‘Green Hell’ in 2023, with Krohn returns to defend the crown he claimed last year.

In addition to the Nürburgring 24 Hours, KCMG will take on an extensive NLS campaign. Beginning at NLS2 on 21 March, the team will also tackle the ADAC 24h Qualifiers in the build-up to the main event.

David Pittard : “I’m excited to join KCMG and my teammates as part of this new Nürburgring 24 Hours project. I have always admired KCMG’s commitment and attention to detail which makes them one of the top private teams in the world! I’m greatly looking forward to driving the legendary Nordschleife again this season in the Mercedes-AMG GT3.”

Jesse Krohn : “It’s great to announce that I’ll be teaming up with KCMG for the NLS season. Coming off a win at the Nürburgring 24h last year, I’m highly motivated to defend that title, this time behind the wheel of the Mercedes-AMG GT3. KCMG has a proven track record at the ‘Ring, and combining their experience with David and Edoardo as my teammates gives us an incredibly strong team. I’m ready to push for top results from the off.”

Edoardo Liberati : “It’s amazing to be joining KCMG in this brand-new challenge at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in our return to the SP9 Pro class. We have a great team behind us and I’m sure that we will learn about the Mercedes-AMG GT3 very quickly. This will be my ninth session with KCMG and it’s been an incredible journey so far! I’m looking forward to sharing the car with Nürburgring specialists David and Jesse and getting out on track.”

Matt Howson, team manager : “KCMG is thrilled to be returning to the top class at the Nürburgring and racing for the first time with the proven Mercedes-AMG GT3. The NLS and Nürburgring 24 will be as competitive as ever in 2026, so the early NLS rounds and ADAC 24H Qualifiers will be an opportunity for KCMG to learn the car and build our strength in the run up to the main event. KCMG is also delighted to welcome former Nürburgring 24 winners Jesse Krohn and David Pittard alongside Edo Liberati as part of the programme, so we certainly have enormous potential to challenge at the front throughout the season.”

Paul Ip, KCMG founder : “The Nürburgring has always been a very special place for KCMG. It represents one of the most demanding and prestigious challenges in global motorsport, and returning to compete in the SP9 category is something we are extremely excited about. The Nordschleife rewards preparation, precision and teamwork and our objectives are clear: be competitive on our return to the Nürburgring, fight at the front of the SP9 field and deliver a strong performance in the 24 Hours. At the same time, this programme continues KCMG’s commitment to international endurance racing and to providing opportunities for talented drivers within our platform. We are looking forward to an exciting season ahead and to once again race on the most challenging circuit in the world.”
