Spectacular season ahead as GT World Challenge powered by AWS reveals outstanding 2026 grids
Ahead of the opening race at Circuit Paul Ricard on 11–12 April, GT World Challenge powered by AWS is making final preparations for a spectacular season of action on and off the circuit. The competition is certain to be fierce this year, with a fantastic 59-car field confirmed for the Endurance Cup and a record 45 cars entered in the Sprint Cup. As such, both series are at full capacity for the season ahead.
A world-leading list of 10 brands will compete for victory in 2026, with Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Ford, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, and Porsche all heading into battle. The grid will grow even further at the marquee CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa (25–28 June) which promises to deliver a unique spectator experience that combines high-level competition and a festival atmosphere.
Cars will be entered in four highly competitive classes. Pro represents the elite of global GT racing, with many entries directly linked to the manufacturers. The Gold Cup and Silver Cup feature a mix of professional and semi-professional competitors, while the popular Bronze Cup category draws on the pro-am ethos that has made GT World Challenge powered by AWS so successful. The teams confirmed for 2026 are among the very best in the sport, with several champions and CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa winners among them. As for the drivers, the entry list features world- renowned professionals, stars of the future, and skilled amateurs from across the globe. Indeed, more than 30 countries spanning six continents will be represented this year.
