Bortolotti, Perera, Paul to drive Lamborghini Temerario for TGI Team GRT
Gottfried Grasser's squad has been an integral part of Lamborghini's success in GT racing since first entering the Huracán in 2015. It scored the brand's maiden overall win that season at Monza, its first titles in 2017, and a breakthrough CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa victory in 2025. This year it will aim to add to that success by fielding the Temerario in the Endurance Cup.
Mirko Bortolotti will once again headline the driver line-up. The Italian is set for his seventh season with GRT and has been part of its greatest successes, including a heroic final drive to victory at last year's CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.
He will be joined by fellow veteran factory driver Franck Perera, who returns to GRT having previously represented the Austrian squad in 2024 and 2018. A Lamborghini factory driver since 2018, the Frenchman is among the most experienced competitors on the grid and holds the GT lap record at Spa-Francorchamps.
These two vastly experienced campaigners will be joined by a comparative newcomer. Maximilian Paul has thus far made just five appearances in the GT World Endurance Cup, though he was recently added to Lamborghini's factory driver roster and is already a race winner in the DTM.
"We are proud to be embarking on a new era with Lamborghini this year," said team boss Gottfried Grasser. "After more than a decade with our beloved Huracán GT3, we are looking forward to the Temerario GT3. We got a good first impression during the tests, but there are still several areas which can be improved on. With our line-up, we feel perfectly positioned for the upcoming learning year."
