The Haupt Racing Team will make its debut at the legendary Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour. From February 13 to 15, the #64 Ford Mustang GT3, entered under the HRT Ford Racing banner, will be racing with drivers Dennis Olsen (NOR), Christopher Mies (GER), and Broc Feeney (AUS) on the demanding Mount Panorama Circuit.

The Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour is one of the most prestigious endurance races in global GT racing and takes place annually at the historic Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, Australia. The 6.213-kilometer track is characterized by its distinctive mix of fast sections, tight corners, and significant elevation changes—demands that require a high degree of driving precision and technical reliability. As the season opener of the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC), the race brings together the elite of GT racing year after year.

The Ford Mustang GT3 will be making its debut at the Bathurst 12 Hour this year. For this important premiere, Ford Racing is placing its full trust in the Haupt Racing Team, which is also making its debut at the Mount Panorama Circuit. Under the name HRT Ford Racing, the team from Drees is entering a strong Ford Mustang GT3 into the race. Dennis Olsen, Christopher Mies, and Broc Feeney will share driving duties in the cockpit of the #64 car.

Norwegian Dennis Olsen has been a Ford factory driver since 2024. The 2019 Bathurst overall winner competed for HRT in last year's ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring and also raced in the FIA WEC and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Christopher Mies is also part of the Ford Racing driver squad. The multiple overall winner of the 24h Nürburgring and the ADAC GT Masters also has a victory at the Bathurst 12 Hour to his name. In 2025, Olsen and Mies clinched the GTD-PRO victory at the 24h of Daytona together in the Ford Mustang GT3.

Broc Feeney completes the Bathurst cockpit. The local hero is a fixture in Australian motorsport and reigning Sprint Cup champion in the Supercars Championship as well as Pro-Am champion in the GT World Challenge Australia. With this powerful line-up, HRT Ford Racing is aiming to achieve a good result in its first appearance at the Mount Panorama Circuit.

In addition to the unique track, which runs entirely on public roads, the start time is also special: on February 15 at 5:45 a.m. local time, the lights will go green. The race into the sunrise regularly provides iconic images, which, combined with the demanding track, contribute to the special flair of this classic.

Ulrich Fritz, Chief Executive Officer Haupt Racing Team: "The Bathurst 12 Hour is one of the most prestigious endurance races in international motorsport. This factory entry is a great honor for us. Ford Racing is giving us the opportunity to compete on the legendary Mount Panorama Circuit for the first time. We are looking forward to the challenge of competing against the best teams in the world and are highly motivated to deliver a strong debut. Our entire team has prepared intensively to meet the special demands of this track. We are ready to make history and offer our fans an exciting race."
