Tresor Competition announces the signing of Andrea Frassineti for 2026: full programme across Italy and GTWC Europe
Tresor Competition is pleased to announce the signing of Andrea Frassineti for the 2026 season. The Italian driver will contest a high-profile programme comprising the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS, both Sprint and Endurance, as well as the Italian Gran Turismo Championship, Sprint and Endurance, at the wheel of the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II.
A top-level project featuring up to 18 races on the main stages of Italian and European GT racing, positioning itself as one of the most comprehensive GT3 programmes on the grid. A commitment that demands continuity, organisation and a structured vision, key elements to tackle simultaneously the leading continental and national championships.
For Tresor Competition, this represents a clear and strategic decision, fully aligned with the path followed by the team in recent seasons, focused on the development and promotion of young drivers within competitive programmes designed to support long-term sporting growth. An approach that has allowed Tresor to establish itself as one of the most credible teams in the European GT scene, capable of guiding emerging talents in a high-level professional environment, fostering technical, sporting and personal development.
Born in 2006, Andrea Frassineti is regarded as one of the most promising prospects in Italian GT racing. After progressing through the junior categories, from karting to Formula 4, he moved into GT competition via the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, where he stood out for speed, consistency and technical maturity.
His record includes wins, podiums and pole positions in the Italian Gran Turismo Championship, highlighted by the 2025 CIGT Sprint Overall title, as well as significant appearances in major European endurance events, where he demonstrated adaptability, race management skills and strong teamwork. A steadily evolving path that has led him to compete at the highest level of GT3 racing.

In 2026, Frassineti will face for the first time a full season across two reference championships, confirming his stable position among the protagonists of Italian and European GT racing.
Andrea Frassineti:“Joining Tresor Competition with a programme of this level represents a very important step in my career. We found in them the right choice for 2026, with a complete and well-prepared team that has extensive experience in these championships, proven by the results achieved in recent seasons, and that can guarantee competitiveness and performance across all four series. Tackling the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS and the Italian Gran Turismo Championship, both Sprint and Endurance, at the same time is a demanding but extremely motivating challenge. From the very beginning, I felt trust and a clear vision for my development: now the focus is on working methodically and consistently to grow race by race.”
Federico Geri, Team Principal, Tresor Competition:“It was my clear intention to include Andrea in the 2026 project. Tresor has always believed in young drivers who demonstrate not only speed, but also approach, discipline and the ability to evolve over time. Andrea perfectly reflects these qualities. The programme we have defined is very demanding and requires focus, preparation and an appropriate structure, aspects we work on every day. I am confident that we will achieve more than a few satisfying results together.”
Enzo Pellizzaro, Manager of Andrea Frassineti:“Supporting a young talent in a programme that includes the GT World Challenge Europe and the Italian Gran Turismo Championship means facing a complex challenge, one that requires planning, vision and a solid technical team. Andrea’s path has been built with seriousness and gradual progression, and today it allows him to compete in Europe’s top GT3 series within a structured environment. It is a project that looks to the future with ambition, but also with strong pragmatism.”
