Preparations for the new motorsport season are already in full swing at Haupt Racing Team. Following a successful debut year with the Ford Mustang GT3, the team from Drees will expand its involvement in 2026 and compete in additional racing series and highlight events. HRT will contest the new season with the Ford Mustang GT3 in its first stage of evolution. The revised race car features targeted optimizations across several areas, providing a stable foundation for further sporting development.

Among the sporting highlights of the coming year is HRT Ford Racing's participation in various events in the Intercontinental GT Challenge, which brings together prestigious endurance races on four continents in its calendar.

In addition, the team from Drees is preparing intensively for the European season. As in the previous year, the Ford Mustang GT3 is scheduled to compete in the DTM and the ADAC GT Masters. HRT will also be fighting for championship points in the five races of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. A particular highlight of the high-class SRO series is, of course, the 24 Hours of Spa, where more than 60 GT3 cars will once again compete for overall and class victories.

The Ford Mustang GT3 will also be back on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife, where the American muscle car has become a crowd favorite and enjoyed several successes in the 2025 season. In addition to selected races in the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series, HRT will also be represented again at the season highlight, the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring.

During the winter months, the Haupt Racing Team will also participate in selected races in the GT Winter Series. In this series, which takes place in Spain and Portugal, the team will prepare for the challenges ahead and give young drivers the chance to gain experience with the Ford Mustang GT3.

Ulrich Fritz, Chief Executive Officer Haupt Racing Team: "We are very much looking forward to the coming season, for which we are already preparing intensively. We are particularly looking forward to the races in the Intercontinental GT Challenge, as we will be competing in some very exciting events there with the Ford Mustang GT3. Preparations for the DTM, the ADAC GT Masters, the GT World Challenge, and our Nordschleife program are also in full swing. The insights we gained last year will help us further improve our performance and build on our strong results. It is sure to be an exciting year."
