Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific will support entries in the championship, including but not limited to spare parts, technical support and increased access to other Porsche One-Make Series in the region. In addition, the leading driver after Round 4 of the 2026 China GT 992 Cup class will receive an entry to race at the popular Porsche Sports Cup China event at Shanghai International Circuit.

This initiative is the latest in Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific’s commitment to supporting drivers progress up the Porsche pyramid. China GT offers a competitive environment to develop their racing skills against drivers of a similar ability level and boasts an attractive 2026 calendar, racing at four of China’s best-know tracks, including two visits to Shanghai International Circuit, plus a season-ending trip to Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit.

The championship will also welcome the new 992.2 Cup car in future seasons, as the marque looks to support the series which has become popular with amateur drivers in the country since it launched.
