For the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship season, Akkodis ASP Team will once again field two Lexus RC F LMGT3 entries in the LMGT3 category. After a remarkable 2025 campaign — highlighted by two pole positions (Spa and Bahrain), two victories (Sao Paulo and Bahrain), and double podiums in the FIA World Endurance Championship standings — the French squad led by Jérôme Policand now unveils its two Pro drivers for the upcoming season.

On the Lexus RC F LMGT3 #87- José María López

José María LÓPEZ (ARG), born on April 26, 1983, in Río Tercero (Argentina) A cornerstone of Akkodis ASP Team’s 2025 success, José María López will continue with the French squad in 2026 aboard the #87 Lexus RC F LMGT3. A double FIA World Endurance Championship winner (2019 and 2021) and winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2021 with Toyota Gazoo Racing, López boasts one of the most complete résumés in endurance racing. The Argentine driver — also a triple WTCC World Champion (2014, 2015, 2016) — has brought his trademark experience and consistency to the team’s LMGT3 project, playing a key role in its rapid rise to the front of the LMGT3 field.

On the Lexus RC F LMGT3 #78 – Esteban Masson

Esteban MASSON (FRA), born on September 18, 2004, in Montreal (Canada) In 2026, Esteban Masson steps into the Pro role aboard the #78 Lexus RC F LMGT3 — a natural progression after already racing with Akkodis ASP Team in the 2024 FIA WEC season, where he shared the #87 with José María López as the squad’s Silver-rated driver. In 2025, he stepped in for Ben Barnicoat at Imola and, after an intense race, he delivered — together with Finn Gehrsitz and Arnold Robin — the team’s very first podium in the category (P3) for the French squad. A French F4 Champion (2021) and 2025 Endurance Le Mans Series (ELMS) LMP2 Champion, Masson has quickly built a reputation as one of the most exciting young prospects in endurance racing. His strong 2024 campaign in LMGT3 and his successful 2025 season in prototypes confirm his status as a rising star. At just 21 years old, he now takes on the Pro challenge with the #78, symbolising Akkodis ASP Team’s commitment to nurturing young talent alongside top-level experience driver.

While the complete line-ups of both crews will be revealed soon, the combination of José María López’s experience and Esteban Masson’s speed promises an ambitious and highly competitive 2026 season for Akkodis ASP Team in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
