Pro-Am winners Arise Racing confirm 12-Hour return

AFTER leading the 2025 race outright within the final 30 minutes while also claiming a Pro-Am victory on debut, Arise Racing GT will return to the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour in 2026 looking for even more.

The Perth-based Ferrari team made their debut in Australia’s International Enduro in spectacular style this year, their Ferrari 296 GT3s instantly on the pace in both the Pro and Pro-Am categories.

The #36 car of Jaxon Evans, Alessio Rovera, Brad Schumacher and Elliott Schutte claimed the Pro-Am class win following a race-long battle with The Bend’s Manthey EMA-run Porsche, ultimately finishing eighth outright.

In the Pro class, the #26 car was a contender all day with a late-race fuel strategy call putting the Chaz Mostert, Will Brown and Daniel Serra-steered car into the lead within the final half an hour of the race before needing to pit.

That splash-and-dash and the lack of any late race Safety Car interruptions saw the car finish fourth outright, just 63 seconds from the leader having been a contender all day.

Arise Racing GT’s Team Principal Jordan Oon said the team was ready to build on their strong debut in 2025. 

“With a year’s worth of knowledge and such a strong Bathurst 12 Hour debut of course we had to come back in 2026,” he said.

“To come away with a class win and challenge for the outright victory in our first year, and the first time the Ferrari 296 GT3 had ever tackled the 12-Hour, was an incredible outcome for us as a new team.

“Since then, we have continued to learn and develop and make our team better so we will return to Bathurst with confidence that we can build on what we achieved in 2025.”

The Arise Racing GT squad has just capped off another strong GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS season, Jaxon Evans and Elliott Schutte finishing a narrow second in the Pro-Am championship.

Jordan Love and the returning Steve Wyatt also impressed in their Arise-prepared machine.

The twin-turbo V6 powered Ferrari was a star addition to the 12-Hour field in 2025 as it tackled the Mountain for the first time, it’s strong debut performance and a class win building on the Prancing Horse’s strong legacy in Australia’s International Enduro.

The brand has claimed two victories in the race, in 2014 with the Ferrari 458 GT3 and three years later in 2017, with the 488 GT3.

More details about the Arise Racing GT program for the 2026 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour will be announced by the team in due course.

The 2026 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour will be held between February 13-15, 2026.
