In January 2024, United Autosports USA joined the IMSA grid as full season LMP2 contenders for the first time.

At lightning speed, the Mooresville-based team have established themselves as front runners in the competitive LMP2 pack, securing 4 pole positions, 10 front row starts, 3 race wins - including the iconic 24 Hours of Daytona (2025) - 5 podiums and a further 7 top five race finishes over two seasons.

Today, United Autosports USA reveals its driver line-up for the 2026 Rolex 24 at Daytona with one clear goal – a second consecutive Daytona race win to kick off a championship-winning IMSA season.

#2 ORECA 07

Phil Fayer has already been announced for the #2 ORECA 07, with the Canadian driver gearing up for his Daytona 24 debut in two months’ time. Fayer will be joined by Daytona and Le Mans race winner Ben Hanley, and - two new additions to the USA squad - four-time IMSA race winner Hunter McElrea and 11-time IMSA race winner Mikkel Jensen.

#22 ORECA 07

Daniel Goldburg returns for his third consecutive season in the United Autosports USA #22 ORECA 07, following a stellar multi-race winning streak with the team in 2025. Goldburg will be rejoined by fellow Daytona and Watkins Glen race winners Paul Di Resta and Rasmus Lindh, together with the new addition of WEC podium placer Gregoire Saucy.

“Winning the 24 Hours of Daytona is a monumental achievement, and one which we are extremely proud of,” says Richard Dean, United Autosports CEO. “Going for back-to-back victories is bold but with two driver line-ups that combine proven, race-winning United Autosports names and formidable new additions to the team, we are putting ourselves in the strongest possible position to lift that trophy once again in 2026.”

The 24 Hours of Daytona will roar into action on Saturday 24th January 2026 – but before that, United Autosports are Malaysia-bound for the opening round of the 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series.
