Prette completes dominant Am title defence, Pampanini and Calamia close Pro-Am gap with class win
The #1 LP Racing Maserati took the start from overall pole, surviving an early assault from class rival Petr Lisa (#294 RTR Projects Mercedes-AMG) and then settling in ahead of Pro-Am leader Roberto Pampanini (#7 DINAMIC Motorsport Maserati).
Prette was then able to build a sizeable gap at the head of the order, pulling 15 seconds clear by the time the pit window opened on the 25-minute mark. He completed his mandatory stop – which included a success penalty following his double win last time out at Misano – and returned to the lead.
During the second half of the race, Prette enjoyed a significant lead over his nearest class rival and was on a clear path to the title. The overall win was up for grabs, too: with 20 minutes left on the clock he held a lead of five seconds over Mauro Calamia in the #7 Maserati, who had taken over from Pampanini at the head of the Pro-Am order.
Despite driving the full race and with a pro chasing him down, Prette held on at the front of the field to capture his second overall win of 2025 and provisionally complete his Am title defence. His teammate Luca Pirri finished as runner-up aboard the #88 LP Racing Audi, followed by the #294 Mercedes-AMG of Lisa and Ondrej Rokos.
Pampanini and Calamia won the Pro-Am class and boosted their title chances in the process. The #7 Maserati enjoyed an entertaining mid-race scrap with the rival #11 Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra Lamborghini, Calamia ultimately getting the better of Stefan Rosina.
The Swiss driver pulled well clear, while Mato Homola also made it past in the #89 RTR Projects KTM he shares with Viktor Mraz, leaving Rosina to take the final step on the Pro-Am podium. This means that he and Bronek Formanek hold a 35-point advantage over Pampanini/Calamia with three races left to run.
