Driving Force Events, promoter of the Gulf 12 Hours, is finalising plans for the inaugural Red Sea 4 Hours, set to take place at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, Saudi Arabia, on Friday 5 December 2025.

Teams are advised to note the date and include it in their calendars, pending official confirmation.

While the Gulf 12 Hours (14 December 2025) is reserved for drivers holding an international licence, the Red Sea 4 Hours will also be open to competitors with a national or international licence issued in any country.

The structure of the race event will be substantially the same of the Yas 4 Hours, already scheduled in Abu Dhabi for the 24 January 2026, as follows:

Circuit: Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Formula 1 Grand Prix configuration: 6.174 kilometres.

Race format: 4 hours with 5 mandatory pit stops (6 stints of around 40 minutes each).

Drivers: 2 or 3 per car; national or international licence accepted; at least one bronze driver or one national licence holder per car.

Track-time: 8h 45m official (4h free practice, 45m qualifying, 4h race).

Week schedule: official free practice Thursday 4 December; qualifying and race Friday 5 December.

Cars: GT3 and GTX1 (Ferrari 296 Challenge, Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo, Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, McLaren Artura Trophy, Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Type 992).

Refuelling: entirely managed by teams using refuelling rigs or fuel bottles.

Tyres: Pirelli

Logistics - Thanks to the convenient location of Jeddah port on the Red Sea, teams joining the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi can ship their containers to Jeddah without any earlier deadline. After the race, teams will have two full days in their garages to work on the cars before shipping them to the UAE. All logistics services will be included in the promoter's offer.
