The mammoth 44 car grid will feature 129 drivers from 29 different countries from Europe, Asia, North and South America, Africa and Australasia and will include three Belgian drivers, Sarah Bovy, Alessio Picariello and Douwe Dedecker who will be racing in their home event.

LMP2 – 13 cars

After claiming victory in Imola last month, Ollie Gray, Charles Milesi and Esteban Masson head the LMP2 championship standings in the no48 VDS Panis Racing Oreca-Gibson. The French team are currently on 51 points, just 1 point ahead of the no18 IDEC Sport Oreca of double race winners Jamie Chadwick, Mathys Jaubert and Daniel Juncadella.

Two second place finishes in Le Castellet and Imola has put the crew of the no43 Inter Europol Competition Oreca of Jakub Smiechowski, Nick Yelloly and Tom Dillmann in third place, 13 points behind the lead car.

The crews of the Iron Lynx-Proton, Vector Sport, United Autosports, Nielsen Racing, Algarve Pro Racing, IDEC Sport no28, Inter Europol no34 and CLX – Pure Rxcing are all unchanged from Imola.

The only driver changes in the LMP2 category is the decision by CLX Motorsport to run with two drivers, Manuel Espirito Santo and Enzo Fittipaldi in the no 47 Oreca-Gibson, with Luis Felipe Derani not competing for the Swiss team in Belgium, and Benjamin Pedersen replacing Francesco Simonazzi in the no30 Duqueine Team.

LMP2 Pro/Am – 8 cars

A first victory in Italy for the 24 Hours of Le Mans winners AO by TF has propelled the American team to the top of the LMP2 Pro/Am standings, with PJ Hyett, Dane Cameron and Louis Delétraz on 48 points in the championship standings.

However, it is all to play for with three races to go with the top six cars split by just 13 points.

The no77 Proton Competition Oreca is in second place in the championship standings after finishing second in Imola last time out, with Giorgio Roda, Rene Binder and Bent Viscaal on 44 points. They are just two points ahead of the no29 TDS Racing and three points ahead of the no20 Algarve Pro Racing Oreca.

Round 1 overall winners and reigning champions François Perrodo, Matthieu Vaxivière and Alessio Rovera will be looking to get their title defence back on track in Belgium after finishing off the podium in Le Castellet and Imola.

The grid is completed by Round 2 winners Nielsen Racing, DKR Engineering and United Autosports.

LMP3 – 10 cars

The no17 CLX Motorsport crew of Paul Lanchere, Adrien Closmenil and Theodor Jensen have been unstoppable this season with maximum points from the first three races and are on 78 points, 45 ahead of their nearest rivals. Victory in Belgium would secure the 2025 title for the Swiss team with an unprecedented two race margin.

The no88 Inter Europol Competition Ligier is currently in second place on 33 points, with Belgium’s Douwe Dedecker being joined by teammates Reece Gold and Tim Creswick for his home race.

M Racing, Racing Spirit of Léman and Eurointernational are all tied on 30 points after three races with Ultimate and WTM by Rinaldi Racing on 26 points and 20 points respectively.

Reigning champions RLR MSport finished second in Barcelona but haven’t taken a point since and driver champions Nick Adcock and Michael Jensen, along with their French teammate Gillian Henrion, will be looking for a better result in Belgium. The LMP3 grid is completed by the DKR Engineering Ginetta and the Team Virage Ligier.

LMGT3 – 13 cars

The LMGT3 grid has seen some of the best racing this year, with Porsche, Ferrari and Corvette each claiming victory in the first three races. However, it is the consistency of the no55 Spirit of Race Ferrari crew of Matt Griffin, Duncan Cameron and David Perel that sees them leading the championship after three races.

The Spirit of Race Ferrari is on 39 points, just six ahead of 4 Hours of Imola winners Hiroshi Koizumi, Charlie Eastwood and Rui Andrade in the no82 TF Sport Corvette, with 4 Hours of Barcelona winners Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting and Célia Martin also on 30 points in the no85 Iron Dames Porsche. Belgian Sarah Bovy will be hoping that home advantage will come into play for the Iron Dames to return to the podium in Spa-Francorchamps.

The no51 AF Corse Ferrari is in 4thplace on 32 points, with Round 2 winners Lilou Wadoux, Riccardo Agostini and Custodio Toledo in 5th on 31 points.

The no60 Proton Competition Porsche sees a driver change with reigning Asian Le Mans Series GT3 champion Antares Au joining former ELMS champions Alessio Picariello and Matteo Cressoni, with Picariello looking forward to racing at home in Belgium.

The LMGT3 grid unchanged driver line ups for both Kessel Racing Ferraris, the JMW Motorsport and GR Racing Ferraris, the Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin, the Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG and the United Autosports McLaren.

The 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps is Round 4 of the 2025 European Le Mans Series and will take place at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on 22-24 August.
