ART-Line grabs debut Pro-Am win at Misano as Prette dominates Am
Shota Abkhazava and Egor Orudzhev are a new addition to the grid this weekend, though the ART-Line duo can call upon considerable experience at the wheel of their Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2. They delivered a polished performance to capture Pro-Am honours, while Prette was just as impressive as he secured the spoils in Am.
Driving his familiar #1 LP Racing Maserati, Prette took the start from overall pole and maintained his advantage over fellow front-row starter Abkhazava. The opening stint was a masterclass from the Italian, who had built a 13-second advantage by the 20-minute mark.
Abkhazava held second spot throughout the first half of the 60-minute race, while third spot changed hands between Alberto De Martin (#115 NM Racing Mercedes-AMG), Roberto Pampanini (#7 DINAMIC Motorsport Maserati) and Pro-Am points leader Bronek Formanek (#11 Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra Lamborghini).
Abkhazava stopped early to hand over to ace teammate Orudzhev, while solo Am driver Prette ran longer. When the pit stop phase was complete the Italian held a 10-second advantage at the head of the overall order, though with a seasoned Pro hunting down an Am the odds were stacked in Orudzhev's favour.
Nevertheless, he was made to work very hard by Prette. The Maserati maintained a consistent pace at the head of the field and was not passed for the overall lead until the final five minutes. With an advantage of more than 40 seconds over his nearest Am class contender, there was simply no need for Prette to take any risks.
Having made his way through, Orudzhev brought the ART-Line Lamborghini home 3.4 seconds clear of Prette for an impressive debut victory. Nil Montserrat took runner-up in Pro-Am aboard the #115 Mercedes-AMG, with DL Racing Lamborghini drivers Diego Locanto and Luca Segù completing the class podium on their GT2 Europe debut.
The #89 RTR Projects KTM of Davit Kajaia and Mato Homola was fourth in Pro-Am, followed by the #11 Lamborghini of Formanek and Stefan Rosina. This marked the first time in 2025 that the Mičánek Motorsport drivers have finished off the podium, though they retain a very healthy advantage at the top of the Pro-Am standings.
Luca Pirri and Stéphane Ratel earned second in Am at the wheel of the #88 LP Racing Audi. This was Ratel's first series podium since Hockenheim last year and Pirri's first since the final round of the 2023 campaign at Circuit Paul Ricard. The #789 RTR Projects KTM of Petr Lisa and Viktor Mraz completed the top three in Am.
