A major programme for UNX Racing in 2026

After a great victory in the Pro-Am class at Spa 24H in a Porsche under the banner of AV Racing by Car Collection, Fabian Duffieux and Mathieu Detry will continue their adventure this season in the GT World Challenge Europe, alongside their GT4 European Series programme with AV Racing.

The entry list for the Misano meeting includes a Porsche 911 GT3 R in the Bronze Cup with UNX Racing for the two Belgian drivers, who are based in the United Arab Emirates. Car Collection Motorsport is handing over to Dinamic GT for technical support in both Sprint and Endurance.

‘We will finish the GTWC Europe season in GT3,’ Fabian Duffieux told Endurance-Info. Mathieu and I will race in Sprint at Misano and Valencia, and Marta Garcia will join us at the Nürburgring and Barcelona."

The name UNX Racing comes from a new crypto exchange company that is keen to involve women in motorsport, hence the arrival of Marta Garcia for the end of the season.

UNX Racing does not intend to stop there, as a full GT World Challenge Europe programme is planned for 2026 with a pair of Porsche 911 GT3 Rs. The plan is to have an all-female crew in one of the two cars. Mathieu Detry and Fabian Duffieux will share the wheel of a Porsche in 2026 with the ambition of having an official Porsche driver alongside them.

Discussions are underway for a presence in the Asian Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Dubai next January. Ultimately, UNX Racing has its sights set firmly on the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The collaboration with Dinamic GT will continue until the end of the season. For 2026, everything is still open. ‘It's still too early to talk about the team structure for 2026,’ explains Fabian Duffieux. Several options are being considered, either a collaboration with an existing team or a 100% UNX Racing team. What we can confirm is that Mathieu and I will not be racing in GT4 next season." The collaboration with AV Racing will continue this season in GT4.

As for Ajith Kumar, who is part of the GT adventure with the two Belgian drivers, a move to GT3 is in the pipeline. The Tamil actor tested a Porsche 911 GT3 R at the end of May, followed recently by a Mercedes-AMG GT3. The plan for Duffieux/Detry is to continue alongside him in the Creventic series in 2026.
