Paul Motorsport will take on the challenge that is the DTM again in 2025. After making its debut last season, the Dresden-based team is now hoping to take the next step and will again field a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2. Maximilian Paul from Dresden is back at the wheel of the Italian race car and is hungry to consistently establish himself among the front runners. As well as its sporting ambitions, the team is also set to catch the eye visually: the bull from Sant’Agata Bolognese looks resplendent in a fresh blue with striking details.

Now 25 years old, he demonstrated his wealth of talent at the Nürburgring in 2023: in only his second outing, Paul claimed his maiden DTM victory in a Lamborghini run by Grasser Racing Team. His first full DTM season with Paul Motorsport followed in 2024. Pole position in Zandvoort was another eye-catching performance.

"We learned a lot in our first year and spent a lot of time over the winter considering how we can continue to improve. I want to show that last year's pole in Zandvoort was no exception. My goal is to consistently finish in the top five," says Paul, who can look forward to two home events at the Dekra Lausitzring (23rd to 25th May) and the Sachsenring (22nd to 24th August).

The Paul Motorsport team is a real family affair: while Maximilian Paul is behind the wheel, his father Tobias Paul is at the helm the ship as team principal. The young racing driver also takes responsibility outside the cockpit and plays a key role in the strategic development of a team that can also call on experience gained outside the DTM. Back in 2022, Paul Motorsport spent a season in the ADAC GT Masters, and the team returned to the prestigious GT series in 2024. Since then, it has been taking full advantage of synergies from its outings in the DTM and the ADAC GT Masters. This coming season, Paul Motorsport will put in a double shift at four of the eight DTM weekends.
