Rutronik Racing will compete in the Bronze Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup with Asian Le Mans Series champion Antares Au, newly appointed Porsche contracted driver Morris Schuring and Loek Hartog.

Rutronik Racing will complete its 2025 line-up in the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS with a strong line-up in the Bronze Cup of the Endurance Cup. The team from Remchingen will compete in all ten race weekends of the SRO racing series with two Porsche 911 GT3 R.

The two lightning-fast young Dutchmen Morris Schuring and Loek Hartog will be at the wheel of the German Porsche team's Bronze Cup car. The trio of drivers will be rounded off by Bronze pilot Antares Au from Hong Kong.

Antares Au will celebrate his 46th birthday shortly before the start of the season in Le Castellet, France. Au has been active in international GT racing for many years. He achieved his greatest success a few weeks ago when he became champion in the GT class of the Asian Le Mans Series. In 2023, he won the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa in the Bronze Cup and one year later celebrated victory in the Pro-Am class at the Nürburgring 24-hour race. He also won the 2024 Independent Cup in the Intercontinental GT Challenge.

Antares Au is looking forward to his first race start with Rutronik Racing: ‘I have been a fan of the GT World Challenge for over a decade and have had the pleasure of competing in the Spa 24 Hours for half of that time. I am excited to now contest the full championship with some of the best people in the business. I believe that with Rutronik Racing we have a professional environment in which we can work towards consistency. I see Morris and Loek as a talented duo from whom I can learn and develop. It will be an exciting season full of adventure and growth for us all!’

Morris Schuring was recently announced as a contracted driver in Porsche's official driver squad. This year, the 20-year-old Dutchman will compete in the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup for Rutronik Racing alongside his DTM programme. Schuring is considered one of the greatest talents in international GT racing and won the Le Mans 24 Hours in the LMGT3 class last year. He also finished runner-up in the FIA WEC in the GT class.

‘I am very excited about the upcoming season! I see great potential in our driver pairing together with the successful Rutronik Racing team. I am particularly looking forward to the Spa 24 Hours! It's a great event and I can't wait to be there again. I already saw great potential during testing, so I am very motivated!’ said Schuring about the joint programme in the 2025 season.

Loek Hartog is already familiar with the Rutronik team from the 2024 season they shared. The 22-year-old from Hoogmade has already celebrated class victories at the Nürburgring and in Jeddah with the Porsche team in the Bronze Cup of the Endurance Cup races. The reigning champion from the Porsche Carrera Cup North America will also be competing in the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup together with Rutronik Racing.

Loek Hartog on his return to the Endurance Cup with Rutronik Racing: ‘I'm very happy to continue working with Rutronik on a programme in the full GT World Challenge Europe. Rutronik Racing, Antares and Morris are three very familiar forces for me, but a new dynamic in combination. The goal for the season is to develop as well as possible and to use our races as a learning process and a goal for good results and points in the Bronze Cup. The 24 Hours of Spa is particularly noteworthy.’

‘I am very pleased that we have been able to continue our customer programme in the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup Bronze Cup in order to build on last year's successes. With Antares, we have a very successful bronze driver in our ranks, who recently proved his skills by winning the Asian Le Mans Series title. As in all categories, the bronze ranking in the GTWC is fiercely contested and we are all the more pleased for the three drivers and would like to thank Antares for their trust in Rutronik Racing. With Loek, we have a well-known figure in our team and with the addition of Morris, we welcome another top talent and Porsche contract driver to our ranks. We are looking forward to the start of the season in Le Castellet!’ says team principal Klaus Graf, pleased about the collaboration with the strong Bronze Cup trio.

The GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup will be contested over five race weekends between April and October. The season starts in April at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France, with a six-hour race into the darkness. The highlight of the season is the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, the world's biggest GT3 race, on the last weekend in June. The events at Monza, the Nürburgring and in Barcelona cover a distance of three hours.
