Duqueine Team confirms a new trio for ELMS 2025
With its sights set on a return to the forefront of the European Le Mans Series in 2025, Duqueine Team is starting afresh and will be relying on a crew combining experience and youth in the #30 Oreca 07 LMP2.
Now a regular of the series after two full campaigns in 2023 and 2024, Reshad De Gerus will be back with Duqueine Team, with whom he made his debut in the ELMS and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2022. The native of Reunion Island has since established himself as one of the benchmark drivers in LMP2 and in the championship, and will be Duqueine's main asset this year.
He will be supported by Israeli Roy Nissany, a well-known single-seater driver in the F1 pyramid series. The former Williams test driver has now set a new direction for his career in 2025 by tackling Endurance and the LMP2 category. His experience will be a great value for Duqueine Team in 2025.
Italian Francesco Simonazzi will provide the youthful backing. The EuroFormula Open 2024 runner-up is also looking to a new horizon in 2025, making his debut in LMP2 and endurance racing. At 20 years of age, this is a new page to write for the driver from Reggio Emilia.

Reshad De Gerus: I am very happy to be back with Duqueine Team. I made my endurance debut with the team in 2022 and it’s a great feeling to be back. Duqueine Team has shown over the last years that they are capable to win races. I am looking forward to bringing my contribution to the project, alongside Roy and Francesco. The competition is getting harder each year in ELMS and the level is just unbelievable. We will stand on the starting line with humility but ambition, with the goal to contend for the championship.
Roy Nissany: I'm delighted to join the Duqueine family. We've already done some good testing together, and we're getting on well. I like new challenges and even if LMP2 and endurance racing are new to me, I can still contribute a lot with my past experience in the car.
Francesco Simonazzi: I'm proud to announce my debut in ELMS with Duqueine Team. It's a big step forward for me, and I'm ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead. I'm looking forward to starting the season with a very competitive grid.
