Dollahite Racing is excited to announce they are bringing the first newly developed Ford Mustang GT3 to SRO World Challenge America for 2025.

Dollahite Racing’s president Bill Dollahite said, “We believe that the Mustang is the best platform on the grid while we also recognize there is a lot of work ahead to dial in the full potential of the car. We have very talented and committed people in our organization dedicated to this and our direct collaboration with Ford and Multimatic as well as their global customers will help us get an understanding of the car much quicker.”

The Mustang GT3, which made its debut at Le Mans in 2024, is a powerhouse vehicle run by a 5.4 liter naturally aspirated Ford Coyote V8 engine strikingly similar to the commercially available Mustang Dark Horse model. At the 2025 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, two of the new Mustang GT3s qualified 1 and 2 in the GTD Pro Class. After an action-packed race the Mustangs finished in the GTD Pro class with a win and a close third.

The Mustang GT3 means business, and so does this race team. Bill Dollahite, himself a famed driver, will continue to lead the team as the team manager with his hands on approach and over 40 years of winning experience. After meeting with Ford and Multimatic last year, Dollahite said, “In all my years of racing, I’ve never experienced the level of commitment and support that both Ford and Multimatic are putting toward this program. We are equally committed to making our collaboration with them one of the best in the 2025 GT World Challenge America championship. The teams engineer, Michael Skinner said, “What Ford and Multimatic have created in the Mustang GT3 is an engineer’s dream. Having their level of support and collaboration between their global customers will certainly elevate everyone’s success.”

Ford CEO Jim Farley said about the Mustang GT3: "It's not Ford versus Ferrari anymore. It's Ford versus everyone!” Bill and his team enthusiastically agree.Their Mustang GT3, now appropriately known as “Trigger,” is the one to beat.

Dollahite Racing is a family-owned motorsports team based in Austin, Texas, with over 40 years of racing history. The team has earned a reputation for excellence consistently running at the front. Returning driver Scott Dollahite said, “I am really looking forward to driving this amazing race car in a bid for the 2025 SRO World Challenge America championship and working with my new amazing teammate, who will be revealed at a later date.”
