After a three-year absence from the DTM, Dörr Motorsport is not only gaining one of Germany's most experienced and versatile racing drivers in Timo Glock, but also an absolute fan favorite for its team. The 42-year-old professional is passionate about the common goal and demonstrates great confidence in Rainer Dörr, his team and the McLaren brand.

Timo Glock contested his first race, including his first points in Formula 1, in 2004. Following his title win in the GP2 series in 2007, he then competed again for Toyota and Marussia in the top discipline of motorsport from 2008 to 2012. After a total of 91 starts in Formula 1, Glock has been concentrating on touring car and GT racing since 2013 and has celebrated numerous successes in nine years in the DTM.

With his many years of varied experience, Glock, who was born in Lindenfels, will play a central role at Dörr Motorsport. “We are very proud to welcome Timo Glock to our team,” says team owner Rainer Dörr. “I think a driver with such expertise and career is a great asset not only for us as a team, but also for the DTM.”

In addition to Timo Glock, Ben Dörr will also be competing for Dörr Motorsport again. With a mixture of years of experience and youthful commitment, Dörr Motorsport is confident that it has put together the perfect driver package for the coming season.

The 19-year-old Ben Dörr, who is part of the official McLaren Customer Racing driver squad as a McLaren Junior Pro Driver, is looking forward to working with Glock.

“It is a great honor to have such a successful and experienced team-mate like Timo at my side. I am sure that I can learn a lot from him on and off the track.”

The coming season marks another milestone in the long history of Dörr Motorsport. After an intensive first year in the DTM, the team from Frankfurt will continue to focus on its self-imposed development strategy in 2025.
