He is one of the top driver in GT and he would have had a rightful place behind the wheel of a GTP/Hypercar prototype. Perhaps we should say ‘should have’, because leaving aside his three IMSA appearances at Daytona, Sebring and Petit Le Mans, Maxime Martin was not favoured by BMW M Motorsport for a full-time seat in the top class in a BMW M Hybrid V8.
