Kubica renews with AF Corse for FIA WEC season 2025
Robert Kubica is set to stay in AF Corse line-up in 2025. The pairing that began in the just concluded FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) season, which saw the Polish driver at the wheel of the number 83 Ferrari 499P managed by AF Corse, continues.
In the yellow HyperCar, Kubica will reunite with Yifei Ye, official Ferrari driver. New entry Phil Hanson, announced on the eve of the last race on the calendar, closes the crew of the number 83.
In the 2024 world championship, Kubica and AF Corse (together, of course, with the aforementioned Ye and Robert Shwartzman) have secured one overall and two class victories in the FIA World Cup for Hypercar Teams.
Robert Kubica: “I am very happy to be able to continue this experience with AF Corse at the wheel of the Ferrari 499P. When we started the project of car number 83 everything was new. Today we find ourselves with 12 months of hard work behind us, a lot of experiences both positive and negative that we will use to improve and to face the FIA WEC 2025. It will definitely be a very challenging season, but with the experience we have gained this year we are confident that we can do a better job. See you in 2025”.
