IMSA - Felipe Drugovich at the wheel of the #31 AXR Cadillac at Daytona

As we announced a few days ago, Felipe Drugovich is taking part in this week's IMSA Sanctioned Test at Daytona at the wheel of the #31 Cadillac V-Series.R. It's a car he knows well, as it's the same one he shared with Pipo Derani and Jack Aitken at the 24 Hours of Le Mans last June.

The Brazilian, who has also contested the ELMS with Vector Sport this year, has not yet announced his 2025 programme. However, he recently tested a Dallara DW12 for Chip Ganassi Racing, proof that he has his sights set on the IndyCar Series. What is certain today, however, is that he will start his season in Florida at the end of January.

In fact, his presence at Daytona International Speedway this week was anything but a coincidence, and we can now confirm that he will indeed be taking part in the 63rd edition of the 24 hours of Daytona with AXR, alongside regulars Jack Aitken and Earl Bamber, as well as Frederik Vesti, who has been retained for the IMSA Endurance Cup rounds.
