Graff signs winning trio for Asian Le Mans Series
As the team returns to the winter series, GRAFF teams up with last year’s winning trio: Alexander Bukhantsov, James Winslow and Danial Frost.
James Winslow is the most experienced driver of the three. Eleven-time single seater, GT and prototype champion, he currently performs well in the Ultimate Cup Series with GRAFF as he is among the leading drivers in the NP02 championship with two wins and four podiums, fighting for another title.
Alexander Bukhantsov is a reference among Bronze drivers in LMP3, having had six ELMS podiums in his career, including his most recent one in September in Mugello. He involved in a triple programme with ELMS, Le Mans Cup, and Ultimate Cup Series, following his title in the Asian Le Mans Series.
Danial Frost’s career has mostly taken place in the USA in Indycar’s feeder series, including a 3rd place overall in IndyPro 2000 in 2020. He then joined IndyLights and IndyNXT with several wins in his tally. Young Singaporean successfully started his transition towards LMP3 with two podiums, including one victory in the Asian Le Mans Series, and another podium in the Ultimate Cup Series in Hockenheim.
The trio raced together during the Asian le Mans Series’ first two races last year with a win and a third place, which led the way for James Winslow and Alexander Bukhantsov to seal the title.
The objective for this year is clear: keeping the crown in LMP3, two years after GRAFF’s title with car #8.
James Winslow, driver #7: “I’m really looking forward to defending our Asian Le Mans Series title from last season, this year with Team Graff, the team and I have a lot of history and have won many races together. I’m also driving alongside Alex and Danial again, both great drivers that I’ve worked with for many years which all started with coaching them into race winners & now we are all good friends and it
will make for a very nice experience.”
Danial Frost, driver #7: “I’m really proud to announce my move to Graff for the 2024-2025 Asian Le Mans Series, lining up with championship-winning drivers and team from previous years. I’m very confident with my decision, I’d like to thank my sponsor Denjet and everyone else to make this happen. I’ve been training hard for this and I can’t wait to see how it translates on track.”
Pascal Rauturier, Team Manager: “I’m excited to return to the Asian Le Mans Series and its cool yet professional atmosphere. Our drivers particularly enjoy this championship. We line up an experienced trio and our objective is to fight for victory in our LMP3 category. I want to set in stone our involvement in the championship and I am already working on our 2026 season entry with our brand new Ligier JSP325.”
The 2024-2025 Asian Le Mans Series season will open on December 7th with two 4-hour races in Sepang (Malaysia) before heading to the UAE in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for 4 more races in February 2025.
