Menzel (Car Collection Porsche), tenth different poleman of the season

Nico Menzel became the tenth different poleman of the season this morning at Barcelona. The German driver of Car collection dominated the session in his Porsche, posting a time of 1.39:335.

 

“It was important to set the time quickly, before the weather became warmer”, he said, “and we are very pleased with how the car behaves. Hopefully, we can reach our first win this afternoon after being close to it a couple of times.”

 

Sharing with him first row will be the Greystone GT McLaren of an excellent Dean Macdonald (+0s308), with four Mercedes trusting the second and third rows, the top-6 bein covered by half a second. Lukas Dunner (Motopark, +0s308) and Fabian Schiller (GetSpeed, +0s383) will be in row 2, with Aaron Walker in the top Pro-Am car (GetSpeed, +0s430) and Dominik Baumann (PS, +0s460) in row 3.

 

Top contenders in the overall standings will start from P12 (Reicher, Eastalent Audi) and P16 (Deledda, Oregon Team), while Krystian Korzeniowski took the pole in Am.
