Anthony Bartone (Miami, Fla.) will compete in the Asian Le Mans Series (ALMS) with Fabian Schiller (Köln, Germany), and Steve Jans (Luxembourg) in the No. 9 Bartone Bros. Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 with Getspeed Performance.

Bartone returns to the ALMS (comprised of three double-race weekends) with Jans and Mercedes-AMG Factory Driver, Schiller. Bartone and Schiller are currently competing in the International GT Open Championship and are sixth in points on the strength of a win at Portimão. Jans co-drove with Bartone in the ALMS last season.

“I’m excited to go back to the Asian Le Mans Series with Fabian and Steve as my teammates,” Bartone said. “It will be pretty much business as usual as Fabian and I are sharing the car at Getspeed in the International GT Open Championship this year. We have a win at Portimão together so far. He has been my mentor, and we have a good time together on and off the track. Steve and I drove together last year in the series, and I am looking forward to running with him again this year. For me it is great to have that continuity going back to the ALMS this winter.”

Bartone and Schiller are focused on this weekend’s sixth round of the International GT Open Championship at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, Sept. 13-15.
