SRO Motorsports Group has used this weekend's Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS meeting at the Nürburgring as an opportunity to present developments to its calendars for the 2025 season.

Next year’s Magny-Cours meeting will now take place on 1–3 August and will see the FFSA French GT Championship once again share the bill with the Fanatec GT Europe Sprint Cup. Staged in the heart of summer, the French public will experience a festival of motorsport with GT3, GT4, the FFSA F4 French Championship and the FFSA French Touring Car Championship all present as headliners. Clearly, this is the place to be at the start of August 2025.

Before that, the season will launch as usual with the Easter Cups at Nogaro. Scheduled for 18–21 April, the familiar opening weekend of the French season will maintain its traditional format, with races running on Sunday and on Easter Monday.

Back on the calendar in 2023 and particularly popular among drivers, Dijon-Prenois will be the scene of the second event of the season on 9–11 May. Then, attention will turn to the only meeting outside France, Spa Speedweek (20–22 June), which promises to be one of the highlights of the season.

Staged a week before the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, the legendary Ardennes circuit will host, among others, the FFSA French GT Championship, the FFSA F4 French Championship, the FFSA French Touring Car Championship, the Fanatec GT2 European Series, and a three-hour British GT contest. With free access for spectators, the event will once again be an ideal prelude to the biggest GT race in the world.

Following the Magny-Cours event (1–3 August) a seven-week summer break will allow fans and competitors to recharge their batteries before setting off down a final straight in the south. From 12–14 September, the FFSA French GT Championship will mark the end of summer with an event at Lédenon.

Then, as is tradition, the titles will be decided at the SRO Racing Festival, which takes place at Circuit Paul Ricard on 3–5 October. Having welcomed more than 33,000 spectators in 2023, this fan-friendly event has become a hugely popular date on the French motorsport calendar.

As has been the case since 2022, the FFSA French Touring Car Championship, which is breaking all records this year, will follow exactly the same programme as the FFSA French GT Championship in 2025.

The other support races will be varied. A detailed calendar will be confirmed in the coming weeks, but we already know that the FFSA F4 French Championship, the Mitjet France Trophy, the Porsche Carrera Cup France, the Alpine Cup Series and the Clio Cup Series will be part of the programme.

The 2025 schedule has now been revealed, but there is still half a season to experience in 2024, with events taking place at three of the most beautiful French circuits: Magny-Cours (23–25 August), Dijon-Prenois (13–15 September), and Circuit Paul Ricard for the finale on 4–6 October 2024.
