Asian LMS - Michelin Extends Tyre Partnership Agreement

Michelin and the Asian Le Mans Series have reached an agreement to extend the partnership for the French tyre manufacturer to continue as the sole tyre supplier for all three categories in the series.

In a multi-year extension to the agreement, Michelin will supply all categories with a selection of race tyres at each of the events, starting with Sepang this December.

As the series has progressively developed, competition enthusiasts in Asia have been introduced to endurance racing, which back at the time was little known in this part of the world.

Today, the participation into the Asian Le Mans Series of top-quality teams and drivers in all categories is testimony to the success of the series, which is now one of the world's leading endurance racing championships.

Michelin is also delighted to be continuing its collaboration with Le Mans Endurance Management, its first-class partner. As in all motorsport activities, Michelin will take the opportunity to deploy its “all-sustainable” strategy also in the Asian Le Mans Series."
