With José-Maria Lopez back in the driver's seat of the #7 Toyota GR010 Hybrid following Mike Conway's injury, Akkodis ASP had to go on the hunt for a new top driver for its #87 Lexus RC F GT3.

Jérôme Policand's French team called on the services of Jack Hawksworth to join Esteban Masson and Takeshi Kimura. This choice comes as no surprise given that the 33-year-old British driver is coming off an IMSA GTD PRO title in a Lexus RC F GT3 / Vasser Sullivan.

Jack Hawksworth is certainly the driver who knows the Lexus RC F GT3 best, having driven it since 2017. While the Bradford native will be making his debut at Le Mans, he has already driven the Lexus RC F GT3 on the European continent, having done some races in GT World Challenge Europe with Tech 1 Racing in 2019.
