Subject to debate and always complex to analyse without knowing its algorithms, the Balance of Performance in force for the 92nd edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours (June 15-16) was eagerly awaited by competitors in the Hypercar category.

The biggest news comes from the adoption of what is known as the dual-stage BoP, which provides two levels of power control, below and above 250 kph, giving the cars greater control over their top speed.

These values, as specified, are subject to change, probably depending on the lessons learned from Test Day (June 9). The limit, initially set at 210 km/h, has been raised to 250 km/h. This is a system that we'll be coming back to shortly, and one that has been mastered by the authorities since it was already in place in LMGT3.

You will find the BoP table for the 2024 Le Mans 24 Hours below, with the values in place for the 2023 edition in red and those for the Spa-Francorchamps 6 Hours in blue.
