GT Open - Home pole for the GetSpeed Mercedes and Fabian Schiller

On their home soil and very close to Stuttgart, Mercedes and Porsche cars took the top-3 positions in qualifying at Hockenheim ahead of Race 1 this afternoon, in another glorious spring day in Germany.

Fabian Schiller (GetSpeed Mercedes) was fastest in 1.37.111, beating the other AMG of Yannick Mettler (SPS) by 0s450.

Schiller commented: “It’s nice to be racing at home and in such a good weather. The car worked perfectly and it’s a good thing to be in pole for the longer race, especially after missing it shortly at Portimão”.

In second row will be the Car collection Porsche of Alex Fontana (+0s458) and the Oregon Lamborghini of Jordan Pepper (+0s622).

In third row, an excellent Michele Rugolo (+0s678) in the AF Corse Ferrari and the other Oregon Lambo of Rolf Ineichen (+0s689).  Another Huracan took best time among Am cars, with Giuseppe Cipriani.
