Season Finale at Jeddah Corniche Circuit moved back by one week

The Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS and GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing season finales at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit have been moved back by one week to 29/30 November 2024.

A new addition to the 2024 calendar, the race at the world’s fastest and longest street circuit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was first announced last summer during Stephane Ratel's annual CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa Press Conference. Initially scheduled for 22nd/23rd November 2024, the extra week will give teams further time to prepare for the season’s all-important climax and reduce pressure on freight at the end of a busy season.  

Acknowledged as the global benchmark in GT3 racing, the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS will run a 6-hour contest at the high-speed Jeddah Corniche Circuit, placing the event behind only the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa in terms of distance. The fiercely competitive GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club will contest its usual pair of one-hour races.

The Endurance Cup contest will therefore now run on Saturday 30th November, while the GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club will stage its two season-deciding races at the record-breaking Jeddah Corniche Circuit. Further details of the event will be announced in the coming months. 

The Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS is set to stage the second round of the 2024 campaign at Brands Hatch on 4th/5th May, before heading to Misano alongside the GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club on 17th–19th May. The season's marquee event, the centenary CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, is scheduled for 26th–30th June.
