Land-Motorsport returns to the ADAC GT Masters

Powerful signal for the ADAC GT Masters: in Land-Motorsport, one of the most successful teams in the history of the series is set to make its comeback this year. “We have had more success in the ADAC GT Masters than any other championship. The return is very important to us,” says manager Christian Land.

His team will run an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo2, in which 19-year-old twins Sandro and Juliano Holzem (both Polch) will share the driving duties. The opening round of the ADAC GT Masters takes place from 26th to 28th April at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben as part of the DTM event. 

When Land-Motorsport entered the ADAC GT Masters in 2016, it proved to be the start of a successful period. The Audi team promptly won the Driver, Team and Junior competitions at the first attempt. The outfit from the Westerwald region of Germany repeated the hat-trick in 2021 with Christopher Mies (Heiligenhaus) and current DTM driver Ricardo Feller (CH). Youngsters Sandro and Juliano Holzem join the field in the new season, giving the grid a unique look: they join Johannes and Michael Kapfinger (both Passau/Team Joos Sportwagentechnik) as the second pair of twins to share a car in the 2024 ADAC GT Masters. While Juliano will be making his GT3 debut this year, his brother drove alongside two-time DTM champion Marco Wittmann (Fürth) in the ADAC GT Masters at last year’s Nürburgring event. He then made his DTM debut at the same venue and went on to start a total of ten races. Christian Land feels his new duo has great potential: “We are very happy to line up with two talented drivers in the new season. Both drivers have already shown what they are capable of in various series. Top results are our goal.”

The youngsters get their first full ADAC GT Masters season underway from 26th to 28th April at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. The twins will be up against many young drivers, all with an eye on the “Road to DTM” as they battle for the title. As part of the new junior concept, the best youngster with a Silver classification, under the age of 25 and driving in the Silver or Pro-Am Cup will receive support in the form of the entry fee for the 2025 DTM.
