Tresor Attempto Racing’s lineup for the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS 2024 Sprint and Endurance 2024 has been unveiled during the tests at Nürburgring
Tresor Attempto Racing is pleased to announce the lineup for the 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint and Endurance. The team will be on track today and tomorrow with all drivers taking shifts behind the wheel of the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II during the scheduled tests at the Nürburgring circuit (GER).
In the Endurance series, the Italian team will field three cars. Car #99 will be entrusted to the Pro crew composed of Ricardo Feller (CH), Christopher Haase (GER) and Alex Aka (GER). Car #88 will see Lorenzo Ferrari (ITA), Lorenzo Patrese (ITA) and Leonardo Moncini (ITA) alternating as a Gold lineup, while Andrey Mukovoz, Dylan Pereira (LUX) and Max Hofer (A) will compete in the Bronze Cup with car #66. In the Sprint series, there will be two Pro lineups with Feller and Aka in car #99, and Haase with Ferrari in car #88, while car #66 will be handled by Pereira and Mukovoz in Bronze.
Seven out of nine drivers continue their collaboration with Tresor Attempto Racing. In addition to Lorenzo Ferrari, who was already announced in February, Feller, Haase, Aka, Patrese, Mukovoz, and Pereira have previously competed among the fields of Ferdinando Geri's team, showcasing a strong desire to continue a successful path that has already yielded results.
Feller, an experienced driver, finished third in the DTM last year and in the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hours in Pro-Am, as well as being the winner in the 2021 ADAC GT Masters. He will team up with Aka, who has shown significant growth over the past two years and was a great performer in the 2023 Endurance series in the Silver Cup, and with Haase, one of Audi's most successful drivers with a track record that includes victories and podiums in all major GT competitions from 2007 to the present.
The #88 crew will consist of three young talents. Ferrari, already a winner in LMGTE in the 2022 European Le Mans Series and the 2021 Italian GT Championship, will share the car with Patrese, who finished third in the Silver standings in the Endurance Cup last year, and with Moncini, who made his debut in the SRO series last season with remarkable results.
Another new entry to Tresor Attempto Racing will be Hofer, who finished second in the 2023 Endurance Gold Cup and was also displaying great performances in the ADAC Total 24 Hours of Nürburgring, finishing second in the Pro-Am class in 2021. He will be joined by Mukovoz, who delivered notable performances in the Bronze Cup last year, and by the experienced Pereira, whose extensive resume includes the victory in the ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring 2023, the victory of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup 2022, and numerous podiums in major GT series.
Ferdinando Geri, Team Principal Tresor Attempto Racing:“We are pleased to present our 2024 lineup. We have worked hard during the winter, and we are truly delighted to continue the work done in these two seasons by combining experienced drivers with young talents. Our target is to perform well, confirming the value demonstrated in 2023 and striving to be competitive from the outset. The tests at the Nürburgring will be very important for us, and I wish all the drivers good luck. I am confident that we will achieve some great results”.
