As we announced this morning, Le Mans Endurance Management was working on a new schedule for the Prologue to the 2024 WEC season, originally scheduled for Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February, i.e. this weekend.

Unfortunately, as we informed you yesterday, the current geopolitical situation no longer allows passage through Bab-el-Mandeb, the strait separating Djibouti and Eritrea.

So the containers that were supposed to arrive by sea were unloaded in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah). They were then shipped by road to Qatar and the Losail International Circuit. According to the latest information in our possession, the teams should have access to the container at 7am on Saturday morning.

So everything has been postponed by more than 24 hours. The first session should be held on Sunday from 5pm to 10pm. The following three sessions will take place on Monday, from 9am to 12pm, from 2pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 10pm. That is, of course, if nothing goes wrong between now and then.
