Iron Lynx has firmed up its driver line-up for the eight-round 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship, which begins on 2 March with the new 1812km of Qatar race.

The team will field a pair of Lamborghini Hurácan GT3 Evo 2 cars in the LMGT3 category, which is new for 2024 following the end of the long-lasting LMGTE classes.

Continuing in the #85 Iron Dames car will be Sarah Bovy, whose qualifying performances netted three Pole Positions in 2023. She joins Michelle Gatting, who was previously announced as part of the trio.

After a year of racing in LMP2, Mercedes-AMG junior Doriane Pin will move to the LMGT3 class in 2024 as she finalises the line-up. The highly anticipated 20 year-old, who took a podium last year’s season-opener, will race in FIA WEC alongside her F1 Academy programme.

Previously announced for the #60 car was Claudio Schiavoni. He will be joined by Matteo Cressoni for his fourth season in FIA WEC with the team. The pair have already raced together in 2024 in the Daytona 24 Hours.

Alongside the pair will be Lamborghini Squadra Corse factory driver Franck Perera for his FIA WEC debut. Perera is already familiar with the team, having raced at the Daytona 24 Hours, Sebring 12 Hours and Petit Le Mans last year as well as at Daytona this year.

Andrea Piccini, Iron Lynx Team Principal and CEO, said: “It is very exciting to be able to announce our complete line-up for the LMGT3 category in FIA WEC in 2024. Having already worked with Franck in the United States, I am very happy to have him join our team on the global stage.   Doriane’s progress in the last few years has been exceptional and I am thrilled to have her racing with us this year. She is an incredible talent and will complement both Sarah and Michelle’s strengths massively. It is also great to have Sarah and Matteo continue with the team after some stellar performances throughout 2023.”
