On the picturesque tropical island of Lombok, following the Official Test Days and the championship’s first two events, Porsche Sprint Challenge Indonesia’s debut campaign came to an exciting end at the series finale. It was Rizqy Motorsport’s Rio Saputra Budiharjo who took victory on Saturday and became Porsche Sprint Challenge Indonesia’s first Sprint Race champion. Aldio Oekon was just two seconds behind for Citadel Racing Team, while Hendrik Jaya Soewatdy secured third and the Am victory for Merah Putih Racing. Pro-Am glory was claimed by Luckas Dwinada for Engine Plus Racing.

The following day, the Endurance championship came to a dramatic end, with the race ending under red flag conditions. It was Oekon and Citadel Racing Team who took the title thanks to their race win, four seconds ahead of Ahmad F Alam and Rudi SL in the #99 Apriwa Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. Soewatdy and John Kwon clinched yet another overall podium and Am victory for Merah Putih Racing, while Dwinada completed a double win in the 40-minute race.

Aldio Oekon, Citadel Racing Team: We did a great job as a team this weekend, from the first lap to the last. I pushed the car hard to defend the lead and fortunately I was able to clinch victory and the title. A big thanks to my family and supporters and I’m excited to return for the next Porsche Sprint Challenge Indonesia championship!” Bagoes Hermanto, CEO Superstars Motorsport: It was a thrilling season finale and a huge congratulations to those who have secured titles. The drivers showed their commitment and competitiveness throughout the campaign, resulting in brilliant racing in both the Sprint and Endurance championships.
