The team will field a trio of Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO 2 cars for the iconic race to start off an epic 2024 season of racing. Testing for the event has already taken place at the Florida-based circuit, with the team continuing preparations next month.

The duo of Claudio Schiavoni and Matteo Cressoni had already been announced as part of the Iron Lynx line-up for the great 24-hour race.

They will be joined by former Formula One star and Lamborghini factory driver Romain Grosjean, who finished fourth on his debut with the team in last year’s race. He will return to the GT cockpit before making the switch to the Lamborghini SC63 later in the year.

Completing the line-up is another Lamborghini factory driver, Matteo Cairoli who will make his Lamborghini debut with the team and boasts an impressive four Daytona 24 starts.

Meanwhile, the #19 entry in GT Daytona Pro will comprise Mirko Bortolotti, Jordan Pepper, Andrea Caldarelli and Franck Perera. In the pink #83 entry in GT Daytona will be Michelle Gatting, Rahel Frey and Sarah Bovy with the fourth driver still to be confirmed.

Iron Lynx Team Principal and CEO, Andrea Piccini, said: “We are delighted to welcome Romain and Matteo to the #60 car for the 24 Hours of Daytona. Romain drove with us in car #63 last year and raced well; Matteo is well known at Iron Lynx as we shared an ELMS season but will race together for the first time with Lamborghini, so we're really looking forward to seeing him driving at Daytona. They will make a very strong addition to the line-up of car #60.”

they can't both be in the #60 car at Daytona because the rules only allow 1 Platinum rated driver in a GTD entry.
