With just over three months to go until the start of the new FIA World Endurance Championship season, it is time for TF Sport to make some important announcements.

After making its collaboration with Corvette Racing official, the team is ready to put every piece of the puzzle in its right place by unveiling one of the two line-ups that will be fielded in the upcoming FIA WEC campaign.

The brand new Corvette Z06 GT3.R #81, ready to fight in the newly created GT3 class of the World Endurance Championship, will be driven by Tom Van Rompuy, Rui Andrade and Charlie Eastwood. Tom Van Rompuy, born in 1988 in Antwerpen, has a great experience in endurance racing: the 35-year-old Belgian raced in the Ligier European Series and in the LMP3 class of the European Le Mans Series in 2022, before switching to the LMP2 Pro/Am class during the 2023 ELMS season.

In the same category he also competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023, showing speed and talent in the extremely tough race at La Sarthe.

Rui Andrade, recently crowned champion of the LMP2 class in the FIA WEC, will add his speed and experience to the team. The Angolan, born in Luanda in 1999, after an early part of his career spent in Formula races moved on to endurance series entering the Asian Le Mans Series in 2021 before going on to European Le Mans Series, IMSA and eventually FIA WEC, always driving LMP2 cars. Driving in all these championship has provided him with an extraordinary knowledge of the world of endurance racing, which will be crucial in a long and demanding season like the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Van Rompuy and Andrade will be flanked by Charlie Eastwood, one of the two pro drivers supplied by Corvette Racing for the upcoming FIA WEC campaign. Eastwood, who was born in Belfast in 1995, is well known within the ranks of TF Sport: with the team, the Northern Irishman won the 2020 Le Mans 24 Hours in the LMGTE AM class and was LMP2 Pro/Am class champion in the 2022 European Le Mans Series, playing an important role in building the team’s history. After racing for the team in the LMGTE AM class in the FIA WEC 2023 and lined up in the Oreca 07 Gibson #90 in the Asian Le Mans Series 2023/2024, Charlie is ready to join his teammates behind the wheel of the mighty new Corvette Z06 GT3.R for what will be an exciting 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship season.

Tom Van Rompuy, TF Sport Driver: “I am very happy and excited to join TF Sport for the upcoming World Endurance Championship. I can’t wait to drive my first kilometres in the brand new Corvette, this car looks really amazing. The aim is to fight for podiums and I am convinced that we have a really strong package to fight for good results. I am looking forward to work with this highly professional team”

Rui Andrade, TF Sport Driver: “I am very happy to be back racing in the World Endurance Championship again and to take on this new challenge! It will be my first time racing in GTs, but I couldn’t ask for better people around me to guide me on this journey. TF Sport is an experienced team with many titles and wins in multiple classes, so I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together!”

Charlie Eastwood, TF Sport and Corvette factory driver: “I am very happy to be back on the World Endurance Championship grid. 2024 is a special year to be part of the series, with the introduction of the new GT3 class along with so many Hypercars. I can't wait to start my new journey with the Corvette and I am happy to have the fantastic TF Sport team next to me, who have been so successful in the championship. By sharing the car with Tom and Rui I think we have all the tools for a really strong season”

Tom Ferrier, TF Sport Director: “It is fantastic to announce our first formation for the 2024 World Endurance Championship season.
