And the first piece of good news is the return to the racetrack of John Farano, who has been convalescing since his off-track accident at Laguna Seca last May, which forced him to miss the centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The 63-year-old Canadian will form the year-round duo with Charlie Eastwood... who will miss the 24 Hours of Daytona, as he is already entered in the #17 Corvette Z06 GT3.R entered by AWA in GTD.

American Michael Dinan will be the third man on the Michelin Endurance Cup rounds, while New Zealander Scott McLaughlin and Austrian Ferdinand Habsburg will be there only for the 24 Hours of Daytona.

Last year, Tower Motorsports finished fifth in the LMP2 Teams' standings thanks in particular to two podium finishes, including a victory over at the 12 Hours of Sebring.
