Announced today at the final round of the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship in Adelaide, Repco will add its name to Australia’s International Enduro for the first time next year.

It builds on their remarkable and expanding support for Australian Motorsport, which includes Bathurst’s crown jewel, the Repco Bathurst 1000, and the Repco Supercars Championship itself.

Next year the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour will launch a spectacular 10-day Bathurst SuperFest event at the spiritual home of Australian motorsport, the GT3 endurance classic to be followed by the opening round of the Repco Supercars Championship the following weekend.

Repco celebrated its 100th birthday in 2022 and has been authentically linked to Motorsport since the 1940s, famously contributing to Sir Jack Brabham’s Formula 1 World Championships in 1966 by building the V8 Repco engine that powered him to win his third and final F1 World Championship.

Another world-class field of international GT machinery will descend on the Mountain in 2024 with indicators pointing to an impressive field of cars and stars from around the world next February.

The 2024 Repco Bathurst 12 Hour will be held on 16-19 February 2024, kicking off the 10-day Bathurst SuperFest that will include the Bathurst 500 the following weekend to commence the Repco Supercars Championship.

The Bathurst 12 Hour is supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency Destination NSW.

Wayne Bryant – CEO, Repco

“Repco is proud to build on its association with the Bathurst community and become the major partner of the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour in 2024” said Bryant.

“Mount Panorama is a circuit steeped in history. The Repco Bathurst 1000 is famous all over the world, and in a very short time, The 12 Hour event has also earned its place as a global motorsport ‘must watch’ event.”

“The Bathurst 12 Hour has become the unofficial start of the circuit racing calendar in Australia and established itself as a must-win event for drivers and teams from around the world.”

“Given the Repco Supercars Championship kicks off the following weekend at Mount Panorama, it was an obvious fit for us.”

Shane Rudzis – Event Director, Repco Bathurst 12 Hour

“Repco are one of the most significant supporters of Australian Motorsport and we welcome the addition of their brand to the Bathurst 12 Hour as our title partner.

“As Australia’s International Enduro, the 12-Hour will not only bring the Repco brand to a passionate local audience, but a truly global one as well.

“Repco are investing heavily on the fan experience and access to the sport, which are hallmarks of the 12-Hour, so this is a perfect match for the event as it heads into an exciting new era.

“With new cars coming and even more on the horizon, the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour is poised for a strong period of growth heading into 2024 and beyond.”

Jess Jennings – Mayor, Bathurst Regional Council
