Car Collection with two Porsche at the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi

After a long and successful season, the Car Collection Motorsport team will contest one last, but very prominent race with the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi. The season finale of the Intercontinental GT Challenge will be held at the Yas Marina Circuit, where the Formula 1 World Championship finale will take place just one week earlier.

Car Collection Motorsport will field two Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) cars in Abu Dhabi. In the #12 car, the American "HASH" will contest his second GT3 race after the 24 Hours of Barcelona. The newcomer will be supported by experienced drivers Alex Fontana and Yannic Mettler from Switzerland as well as the 2022 GTWC Europe Endurance Cup Pro-Am champion Stefano Constantini from Italy, who is standing in for regular driver Ivan Jacoma, who cannot be with the team this time. This quartet will start in the Pro-Am classification. The project is supported by the company Arch Motorcycles, which was founded by Hollywood star Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger. Both owners are fans and supporters of the team.

The #21 Porsche will be competing in the Am classification, with American Dustin Blattner, a newcomer who will be contesting his first GT3 race in Abu Dhabi, at the wheel.With the two Germans Constantin Dressler and Joel Sturm, the driver, who previously gained his first experience and successes in the GT Winter Series and the Porsche Sports Cup, has two experienced drivers at his side.

The Gulf 12 Hours, in which only GT3 cars are eligible to compete for the first time, will start on Sunday, December 10 at 10 a.m. local time. Due to the time difference, the race will start at 7 a.m. German time and can be followed via livestream on the Intercontinental GT Challenge website or on YouTube.
